Brog Windsurf Club's Christmas Moutain Bike Ride. Not a contradiction, but a tradition.... ah tradition ... as I'm sat watching "fiddler on the roof"... 20 of us in all.

The weather was cool but not icy and the sky was clearing, and the sun breaking through.... We pedalled over to the pub at Eversholt. Colin had organised all the food, baked spuds all round most people's choice. A nice pint of ale to wash it down.

Mike G on a bike was a new one.... Wicky was going well. Mike M and Colin competitive as ever...

After lunch 3 groups one straight back the other Steppingly Woods. And the competitive ride to Woburn. We did the cattle grids road through Potsgrove and over to Woburn Woods. It was very muddy in places, especially where 4x4s had done thier dirty deeps. In places the sand was packed hard and easy to ride on. We did the roller coaster and the Little Brickhill climb. We descended the knarly climb into Woburn Sands before heading back over the M1 on Salford Road and Mill Lane.
